All existing Abacus sexual health service appointments across all clinics have been cancelled.

A telephone triage and consultation service is in place which will be supported by a postal service for the delivery of supplies.

Abacus telephone triage service: 0151 247 6555  (Monday - Friday, 9.30 am - 4.30 pm)

Following the telephone triage, if a face to face consultation is required, service users will be offered an appointment at Central Abacus situated at the Beat, 6 David Lewis Street, L1 4AP.

Clinics for Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare

Free, confidential service for men and women of all ages including under-16s, offering:

  • Advice, counselling and information
  • Contraception (including pills, IUD / coil, IUS, injection, implant);
  • Free condoms
  • Pregnancy testing
  • Emergency contraception
  • Chlamydia testing and treatment
  • Referal for abortion.
  • Psychosexual counselling (for people with a Liverpool GP).

MOST services are offered on a drop-in/walk-in basis, however some services will require an appointment.  Please see the Abacus website for full details.
