Pharmacies offering free emergency contraception and Chlamydia testing kits

The following pharmacies offer FREE emergency contraception (sometimes knows as 'the morning after pill') and Chlamydia testing kits.

Emergency contraception is available for all ages, and can be taken up to 72 hours after unprotected sex, but is more effective the earlier it is taken.  No prescription is needed.  The service is free and confidential.

Chlamydia testing kits are available for 16-24 year-olds, and can be picked up from 'Grab and Go' bins inside the pharmacy.  Just choose a 'male' or 'female' kit; do the test in the comfort of your own home; and post it back in the pre-paid envelope.  The service is free and confidential

Chlamydia is common in young, sexually active men and women.  Most people have no symptoms, so aren't aware that they have it.  It can be serious if not treated early on, but is easily treated with antibiotics.

Condoms help protect against sexually transmitted infections and unplanned pregnancies.
