Chlamydia

Chlamydia is the most common sexually transmitted infection (STI) in the UK - in men and women. There are usually no obvious signs that you have the infection because it can stay hidden for months or even years.

If caught early it is easily treated with antibiotics. If left untreated, it can lead to Pelvic Inflammatory Disease and infertility.  Visit Love is Infectious for more information about testing and treatment.

You can get tested for Chlamydia FREE at any local sexual health service, Walk-in Centre, and some GPs.  If you live in Liverpool and are aged between 16 and 24, you can also request a FREE postal kit at Love is Infectious.
